These are offered as an accessory item, to complement the soaps we make. We do not hand make these pouches. That said, they are made using a natural fiber, and will help work up a lather and provide a little bit of gentle exfoliation when used in place of a washcloth with the soap inside. For best results remove soap after each use and rinse bag out to remove soap residue, then hang in the shower to dry out. It is recommended that sisal pouches be replaced when the fibers begin to break down, most likely every 2-3 months.
These bags are larger than what’s widely available now. At approx. 4-3/4” W x 5-3/4” H, these are of adequate size to accommodate even our largest bars of soap (Goat’s Milk Himalayan Pink Salt Bars). Unfortunately, unless we can find a new source for them, once the existing stock has sold out, we will have no more of this size available.
